Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our clients’ IT systems. This role requires extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced on-site technical support and maintenance for IT systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade IT equipment and software.
- Perform routine maintenance and system checks.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Develop and implement best practices for field service operations.
- Train and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, CompTIA or similar certifications, or relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a Senior Field Service Engineer or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software. eg. M365, Hyper-V etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
